Cycling Club - Ride Schedule


The following are ride opportunities or events that the New Town Cycling Club will be attending. Details will be added as we get closer to the dates of the events. Mark your calendars and join us. Anyone fifteen and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate unless otherwise noted.

All rides are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather conditions, or any other conflicting events not known at this time. Please contact Brad Reed for ride cancellation updates – (314)304-7687.

Belle Bottom Bicycle Ride: Free
Start: Columbia Bottom Conservation Area, 801 Strodtman Road, St. Louis, MO 63138
Bike It: 10-mile route out and back on the paved Confluence Trail, a project of The Great Rivers Greenway District
Features: Celebrate National Trails Day at these family-friendly events that celebrate the trails at Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. Complete the routes on your own or join the naturalist-led hike at 9:00 AM at the Confluence Parking Lot or the group-led bike ride at 9:30 AM at the trailhead near the Visitor Center. 70’s attire optional, cyclists are required to wear helmets. After the event visit these other sites in The Confluence: Bella Fontaine Park or Fort Belle Fontaine.

Start: Scheve Park, 6th & Harnett Streets, Mascoutah, IL 62258
Routes: 16, 26, 38 or 50 miles
Terrain: Flat with some small hills
Features: Pleasant pedal through the German-settled countryside. After the ride enjoy the food, drinks, games and displays that are part of Mascoutah’s annual German Heritage Festival.

Moonlight Ramble – Join us as we head to the 'Moonlight Ramble'...an annual St. Louis tradition for over 45 years. Our plans are to leave from Beatnik's at 10:00 PM...and point towards the big arch by the muddy river.
